  • When insurance isn't enough — and for most survivors, it isn't — BEACON's grant program closes the difference between what's owed and what it costs to come home.

UNderINSURED SOLUTIONS FOR ALTADENA

BEACON LA Rebuild Navigator Program

offers education and resources for CrossMod building alternative. Underinsured that cannot afford more than 400k to rebuild, education on Cross modular value, character, and fast return times. 

Step 1: Homeowner Assessment

BEACON LA meets with the homeowner and evaluates:

  • Insurance proceeds available

  • Budget gap

  • Lot conditions

  • Timeline goals

  • Financing eligibility

  • Desire to return quickly

Step 2: Rebuild Options Consultation

The homeowner receives a side-by-side comparison :

  • Site-built construction

  • CrossMod® homes

  • ADUs

  • Design-build solutions

BEACON LA remains neutral and presents pros, cons, costs, and timelines.

Many homeowners don't know CrossMod® homes may qualify for conventional financing, so education is valuable here.

Step 5: Project Coordination

If the homeowner chooses a CrossMod® solution:

  • BEACON LA introduces them to participating builders and manufacturers.

  • The homeowner contracts directly with those parties.

  • BEACON LA tracks progress and provides technical assistance.
